Okay, let’s get the cat out of the bag…I was born in France. Hey, nobody’s perfect!

This was nearly (gulp!) 4 decades ago, but I stopped counting at age 26 (I highly recommend this practice by the way).

The first decade: Doing whatever my parents told me to do.

The second one: A random mix of acting in every possible chauvinistic and idiotic way – in true French fashion… And closely observing human nature (It’s a very trendy activity in Paris – generally practiced in a nonchalant manner from the terrace of a café.)

The third decade? Spent mostly in the UK… Catching up on all the stupid things I wished I had done in my teenage years. And growing up a lot in the process…

Including through:

• Losing a fair amount of my cash in a few small ventures of my own.
• Observing the day-to-day activities of 80+ profitable businesses, large and small, new and well established, in over 30 industries (plus a few that failed).
• Managing teams of 25/50 employees of more different cultures and IQ levels than you can probably think of.
• Devouring way too many marketing and success resources as a self-confessed insatiable info-addict.
• And much more that I just can’t confess… <blush>

Some have called me “Mr Organized”, and the “Time Management Doctor” moniker also came about from a habit of making those who work with me appreciate the value of their time and make the most of it.

The fourth decade?

Still working on that one… Drawing a few useful lessons and ideas from all of the above and hoping you’ll find them useful and valuable for your business success.
